Macedo Double Dips with the All Stars

INDIANAPOLIS (Jun. 12, 2018) – The Empires State was no challenge for Lemoore, California’s Carson Macedo, as he visited victory lane twice during three nights of Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions competition. After a discouraging start to the weekend at Outlaw Speedway on Friday night, Macedo rebounded nicely at Stateline Speedway and Weedsport Speedway, picking up wins number two and three in 2018.

“To get an Allstar win is not easy, but to be able to go back to back this weekend at two tracks we haven’t seen before is incredible,” explained Macedo. “My car was phenomenal. I just can’t thank the No.3G team enough. We have a lot of good people on board with this team, and some really close-knit sponsors. I seriously can’t thank everyone enough that makes this possible for us.”

From a second row starting position, Macedo pounded the top of the racetrack, passing Saturday night’s pole sitter Greg Hodnett, in turns one and two, and taking the race lead on lap one. Virtually unchallenged during the entire 30 lap event, Macedo put the Beast Chassis No.3G combo in victory lane at Stateline Speedway. Sunday’s three race finale found Macedo lining up from row two, but a spinning car on the initial start would restack the field with Macedo starting from the second position. Macedo would get the jump on the restart over Aaron Reutzel, to also lead all 30 laps of the feature event at Weedsport Speedway.

“Joe Gaerte, Tim Norman, Cindy Norman, and Eric Slade worked really hard, made a lot of changes to my car to make sure we had a lot of speed, and it payed off,” offered Macedo. “I’m just thrilled to get another win, and get some momentum rolling for this team. When things are clicking it seems like it gets a bit easier. Everybody knows their job on this team and does it very well.”

Macedo and the No.3G team are gearing up for nine consecutive nights of racing with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions, during Ohio Speed Week. The first race kicks off Friday, June 15th at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio.

Carson Macedo would like to thank the following personal sponsors: Shifty Illusions, Vaportail Clothing, Fiberworks Composites, Port of Subs Sandwiches, Tarlton and Son Incorporated, Southern Pacific Farms, and Dyson Motorsports.

The No.3G Team would like to thank the following sponsors: Weld Wheels, Lucas Oil, Allstar Performance, XYZ Machining, Slade Shock Technology, Astro Titanium, Eagle Ignition Leads, Shepherd’s Chevrolet, Elliott’s Heating & Air, BMRS, Hoosier Tire, TOPP Performance Race Parts, Bell Helmets and Townline Variety.
