Faccinto Finalizes Shootout and Chili Bowl Rides

INDIANAPOLIS (Dec. 5, 2017) – Michael Faccinto is set to partner with Austin Brown Racing for the 32nd running of the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire. Faccinto will be behind the wheel of the Mesilla Valley Transportation/Boss Chassis/Toyota Racing No.7 machine.

“Getting to work with Austin (Brown) and Flea (Ruzic) will be a great time,” explained Faccinto. “They both have a lot of midget experience and I’m eager to learn what I can from them. I was fortunate enough to make the A-main event last year in a different car, and I’d be thrilled to do the same again this year. Austin has top-notch equipment, I’m excited for the opportunity to run for him.”

After an 18th place finish in MF Motorsports No.35 this past January, Faccinto looks to not only repeat his A-main start, but also improve his finishing position. This will be Faccinto’s fourth Chili Bowl attempt.

Faccinto is no stranger to the River Spirit Expo Center. The California native is a feature winner in two different micro divisions at the Lucas Oil Tulsa Shootout. The 33rd running of the largest micro racing event in the country is held two weeks prior to the famed Chili Bowl. Faccinto is to wheel the Kasiner Racing No.21G in the outlaw wing and non-wing divisions.

“I started out in micro’s and I always enjoy running the Shootout,” commented Faccinto. “It’s a huge event, tons of drivers run multiple classes, and it’s just a fun time. I’ve made a ton of laps around this place, and hopefully that helps me out at the Chili Bowl too.”

The veteran micro driver has claimed two wins at the Tulsa Shootout, the first during 2013 in the A Class event, and again in 2015 in the Outlaw division.

Faccinto would like to thank the following sponsors (No.7): Austin Brown Racing, BOSS Chassis, Toyota Racing, Mesilla Valley Transportation, Engler, RAMS Racing, Lucas Oil Racing Products, ButlerBuilt Professional Seat Systems, Rod End Supply, and AFD Graphics.

Faccinto would like to thank the following sponsors (No.21G): Joe Kasiner, Kasiner Farms, Harry Boudakian Racing engines, FK shocks, CS9 Chassis, Irritec, P1 drip tape, West Hills College, and V&H Fresh.
