INDIANAPOLIS (Jan. 3, 2017) – Returning to the Stan Greenberg owned KPC No.37 for his fourth consecutive season, Mitchell Faccinto is eagerly awaiting March 17. This will be the first of a projected 50 races on their schedule, beginning at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, California, with the infamous World of Outlaws.

Looking back at the 2016 season, Mitchell captured 2 wins, 15 top 5’s, and 27 top 10’s in a meager 35 races. Faccinto led 29 of the 30-lap feature event during the Jimmy Sills Classic at the Stockton Dirt Track, only to get passed by Bud Kaeding coming to the checkered. Kaeding stole what could have been Mitchell’s first win of the year. That first win came a few days later at Siskiyou Motor Speedway during the fifth race of Speedweek Northwest. A caution on lap 17 and a superb restart would lead Faccinto to Victory Lane.

Faccinto’s second win would come with a clean sweep during the Civil War Series portion of the Gold Cup at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, California. Mitchell set Quick Time during qualifications, rendering a new track record, won the heat race and Pole Dash, and led all 30 laps of the feature event.

“Running the 37 for Stan Greenberg has been great. We’ve had some good speed and several wins to show for it. Our team continues to improve and we look forward to tackling a heavier schedule in 2017,” said Mitchell. The team looks to add an estimated ten more races to this year’s aspiring schedule.

Faccinto and team look to run a handful of World of Outlaws races while the series is on the West Coast, in addition to the King of the West Series, Civil War Series, Hanford’s King of King Series, and the Sprint Car Challenge Tour. A full schedule will be released later in the year.

Mitchell Faccinto and Stan Greenberg would like to thank the following sponsors: Western Metal Company, TSG Recycling, I.H. Greenberg, and Simpson Race Products.
